Learning Network

Purpose

The QIC-EC’s Learning Network serves as an active mechanism for exchange of information between the QIC-EC and a multidisciplinary group of organizations and individuals who share the commitment to maltreatment prevention in very young children. Learning Network members contribute ideas, questions, and information and are well-positioned to disseminate to their colleagues and constituents new information developed out of the work of the QIC-EC.

Activities

Learning Network members are invited to participate in quarterly webinars, during which information about the QIC-EC, child abuse and neglect prevention, and specific research relevant to or funded by the QIC-EC are shared. Recordings of these webinars, as well as slides and other materials, can be found on the Resources page. Members are also invited to participate in learning sessions at the ZERO TO THREE National Training Institute e and the Strengthening Families Leadership Summit, when scheduled.

These virtual and in-person sessions give QIC-EC staff and members of the field the opportunity to engage in generative conversation about child abuse and neglect prevention practice and research. Learning Network members are invited to give feedback to ideas and information presented, and to share what they have learned with peers and colleagues.
